A.P.T Gallery

A.P.T encourages participation in the visual arts through creative practice, exhibitions and education. It was set up in 1995 and the charity currently supports 42 studios for fine artists and the A.P.T Gallery at its premises on the banks of Deptford Creek. With a strong education and exhibition programme, A.P.T demonstrates the diversity of contemporary visual art through its programme of high quality exhibitions, studio visits, talks and workshops. A.P.T runs the CREEKSIDE OPEN, a biennial competition which has, since its inauguration in 2005, achieved significant recognition by exhibiting nearly 800 artworks in thirteen exhibitions. Selectors for the CREEKSIDE OPEN have included Eileen Cooper, Victoria Miro, Paul Noble, Richard Deacon, Jordan Baseman and Alison Wilding.
